HORSES FOR SALE & ADOPTION We want to keep you informed about horses for sale at 3S-Ranch and elsewhere. Each horse we feature has been evaluated/assessed and while there are no guarantees, every effort has been made to give you, the buyer/adopter, information that is current and truthful. 3S-Ranch is partnering with MN Hooved Animal Rescue Foundation to evaluate and train rescued equines that have been either donated or seized from unsafe or unhealthy environments. These animals are waiting to be adopted and can be seen at 3S-Ranch by appointment. We recommend that if you are considering purchasing or adopting a horse, you take a couple of lessons at 3S-Ranch to ensure that you understand, the best as one can, the horse that your are interested in. Please remember to have a qualified person accompany you when looking at a new prospect. Also, a veterinarian health check is vital no matter where you purchase the horse. MARES

How's this for a brave, quiet and calm horse! Toey the MN Hooved Animal Rescue Foundation horse. When he came from the University of MN he had no hair on his tail and you could see every rib, now look at him!!! He's had 30 days under saddle is light and easy to guide and very willing to please. Toey is a Draft/Saddle Bred or Standard Bred cross. Good sized boy at 15.2 hands and about 1200 lbs. Great ground manners and smooth to ride as well as nice to look at. Toey under saddle with Chris from 3S-Ranch. He walks, trots, stops and backs quietly and calmly. While he's being ridden the horses in the adjacent pasture began running and Toey's response was to stop and look and then when I asked him to continue he just walked off. He's currently working on moving off leg pressure and to collect himself. He's a good horse for an intermediate rider but does not have enough life experience for a beginner.
